Rolf Wolff is partner of Cavendi. He is an internationally recognized consultant, lecturer and advisor. 

Born 1953 in Germany, Rolf Wolff received a Master in Economics from The University Wuppertal, a Master of Social Sciences from The University of Gothenburg, a PhD in Management 1981 from Universität Wuppertal (Germany) and became an Associate Professor of Management (docent) 1983 at Stockholm School of Economics. He became a full professor in management at the age of 32, at Nordische Universität Flensburg and has held full professor positions at Gothenburg School of Economics and Law, Copenhagen Business School and Chalmers University of Technology.

Rolf Wolff has led academic institutions in Germany, Sweden and Denmark. In 1989 he started and managed Gothenburg Research Institute (GRI) at the Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law. Between 2000 and 2010 Rolf Wolff was the president of the School of Business, Economics and Law (Handelshögskolan) at Gothenburg University. Between 2012 and 2013 he was president of the Stockholm School of Economics (Handelshögskolan). Between 2013 and 2015  Rolf Wolff was President and CEO of the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in Wiesbaden, Germany. His research covered areas such as organizational learning, strategy development and sustainability.

In addition to his academic career, Rolf Wolff has worked in banking, top management consulting and insurance/finance. He has advised top management in areas related to business strategy and change management. He also has consulted national and regional governments in Austria, Germany and Sweden.

Rolf Wolff has held various board positions, e.g., at Volvo Financial Services and the Swedish Fair in Gothenburg. He is the chairman of Nobel Price Laureate Arvid Carlsson Foundation for brain research and a member of the Government commission for Science and Technology in Niedersachsen, Germany.
